NOTICE!!: 2024 Ford Ranger Bed Reinforcement Requirements

RealTruck | A.R.E. has identified issues with the 2024 Ford Ranger design that prevents standard mounting of all truck caps. The truck bed may not have sufficient structure to support the weight of truck caps. This may result in damage to the truck bed without proper reinforcement.
There are two modifications REQUIRED to the 2024 Ranger bed before a truck cap can be safely installed:
1.The truck bed must have underbody reinforcement brackets installed by an authorized Ford dealer per Ford Customer Satisfaction Program 23P22. The required Ford Accessories parts are:
- SKU: VN1WZ2627726A – Ranger 2024 Load Box Reinforcement Kit For Non-Raptor Models
- SKU: VN1WZ2627726B – Ranger Raptor 2024 Load Box Reinforcement Kit
2.The truck bed must also be modified by an authorized A.R.E. dealer using A.R.E. Reinforcement Kit part # 25845 per the included kit's instructions to reinforce the truck bed plastic side rail caps. The instructions for A.R.E. part # 25845 can be found below in this document.
